Pictures from this past month!

Well, the last few weeks have been busy! We're done setting up our house (we bought a kitchen table the other day, our last piece of furniture needed!) Grandmom, Aunt Terie, Karen, and my parents have all been able to come down- It's so nice that people can come visit without having to buy a plane ticket or driving four days!! Here are a few recent pictures from the last month....Enjoy!

Mom and Dad's LAST trip to Oregon

Mom and dad came out to Oregon to pick Mary up so she wouldn't have to endure the VERY long car ride across the country! They didn't stay long, and we spent most of the time trying to finish up the house, but we were able to do a little bit of sigh seeing!

Grandaddy and Mary in our empty house

We went up to Stonehendge- a replica of the REAL one, and a war memorial. It's a nice drive and very pretty!!
This is the Columbia Gorge- Where we spent the last 3 years...

Grandaddy and Mary

Another view of the Columbia Gorge. You might notice that it's not very green like most people picture Oregon and Washington to be. That's because we lived in the dessert....A very hot, very dry dessert.... I didn't think I would miss that lack of green- but it was a different type of beauty...I'm glad I got to experience it!

Mary playing on the playground near our house... for the last time....

Grandaddy let her wear his hat!

The last picture of our house.... Many, MANY happy times there...

The 4th of July in Port Angeles

We went to Port Angeles for July 4th weekend. Mary got to explore Granpa's porperty and had such a blast! We shot fire works off at Granpa's house before going downtown to watch the Big Ones! We spent some time over at Great- Granma and Great- Granpa B's house where Mary got to meet some of her second cousins! It was a great trip! (Even though it was cold, yes, cold on the Fourth of July....) Mary trying on the swing Granpa built for her

Hiking around Granpa's property... She's walking over the wooden bridge that goes over part of the pond!

Trying to climb a treeLooking at the water
Trying out Granpa's hammock- such a peaceful place!

Petting Granpa's cat!

We went to a playground with Granpa, Mary was all over the place!!

One of the fireworks was a little loud, she had a brief moment of fear, but after that she was okay!
Hudson liked to chase the fire crackers
Eatin' her popsicle Granpa gave her
